How to scale your author business beyond one series
One series = one income stream. Two series = two income streams. Each series has its own reader base, its own email segment, its own launch cycle. Revenue multiplies.
When to Launch Series 2
Series 1, book 1: Month 1-3. Build email list. Series 1, books 2-3: Month 4-6. Expand list. Series 1 stable: Month 7. Launches are predictable. Series 2, book 1: Month 7-9. New readers, new emails. Series 1 + Series 2 revenue: Month 10 onward. Don't launch series 2 until series 1 is running predictably. You need to understand one system before scaling to two.
The Math of Multiple Series
Series 1: 5,000 email subscribers. $3,000/month. Series 2: 3,000 email subscribers. $2,000/month. Series 3: 2,000 email subscribers. $1,000/month. Total: $6,000/month from three series. Each series requires the same system. The system compounds.
